Project Summary
The successful completion of this project provided Seafood City with a high-performance network cabling infrastructure designed to support the demands of their new retail location. The newly installed system delivers reliable connectivity throughout the store, supporting restaurants, checkout areas, retail spaces, security systems, and customer-facing technology. Phoenix Communication Solutions is proud to have partnered on this installation, helping create a connected and efficient environment that enhances both daily operations and the overall shopping and dining experience.
The Challenge
This project provided PCS with valuable experience as one of our first large-scale, new construction retail deployments. Unlike many of our previous retail projects involving upgrades to existing facilities, this installation allowed our team to coordinate and build a complete low-voltage infrastructure from the ground up. The project included comprehensive cabling solutions for data, wireless access points, access control, overhead paging, and surveillance systems throughout the facility. Successfully integrating these technologies into one large-scale deployment further expanded our expertise in delivering reliable, high-performance infrastructure for the evolving demands of modern retail environments.
Scope of Work
200+ CAT6 cable runs, multi mode fiber optic backbone cabling, wireless access point installations, camera installations, overhead paging & speaker installations, MDF / IDF buildout including a 9U enclosed data cabinet, 2 post rack, ladder trays, sleeve kits and plywood backboard mounting.
