Phoenix Communication Solutions recently completed a comprehensive low-voltage cabling and network infrastructure installation for Phoenix Defense’s new office and warehouse facility. The project included the deployment of high-performance CAT6 structured cabling, fiber optic backbone infrastructure, and strategically placed wireless access points to ensure reliable connectivity throughout both the office and warehouse environments.
Designed to support the client’s day-to-day operations and future growth, the new infrastructure provides scalable network performance for business communications, operational technology, wireless mobility, and warehouse connectivity. Our team worked closely with the client throughout the project to deliver a clean, efficient installation that aligned with the demands of their new facility and long-term technology goals.
To support the client’s operational goals, this project was strategically designed around maintaining a single centralized MDF (Main Distribution Frame) rather than implementing a secondary IDF location. While facilities of this size typically require an additional IDF to maintain signal integrity over long cable distances, our team engineered an alternative solution that allowed the client to retain a centralized network infrastructure layout.
Because standard CAT6 cabling begins to experience signal degradation and packet loss beyond the recommended 300-foot distance limitation, Phoenix Communication Solutions implemented advanced GAMECHANGER CAT6 cabling technology capable of supporting extended cable runs up to 800 feet without compromising performance. This innovative approach enabled us to preserve network reliability while meeting the client’s preference for a centralized MDF to support the facility’s complete cabling infrastructure.
